Christmas at the Inn

Come out to the 200 year old stage coach Inn on October 12th from 10:00am-2:00pm for a fun day for the whole family! Learn skills of the early settlers and hear the stories of times gone by from our Living Historians. Appalachian folk music, Historical Apothecary shop and demonstrations, corn shelling, corn shuck dolls, quilting, spinning, blacksmithing, leather working, black powder demonstrations on site, wood carving, crocheting and tatting, saw sharpening demonstrations and cross cut tools. Try your hand at hand weaving and sample historical recipes that would have been served at the Inn right in the stone floor kitchen. Learn about the Native People on the river and around the Tugaloo Valley. Climb aboard the Jarrett Buggy or the old covered wagon and take a commemorative photo to mark a fun family day.

Tours of the Inn available $3.00-$5.00, See the the Vintage Dresses on Display through out the Inn.
Come join us December 7th and 14th for our annual Christmas at the Inn, take a tour and see the beautiful Inn decorated in its lovely period finery. see historians in period attire of ages gone by and sample the delightful Jarrett family teacakes and hot cider. So, come on out and enjoy a bit of holiday history.
